Who We Are
I'm Jeff Johnson and that's me in the picture holding a Large Mouth Bass.
I am a Colorado native and have loved fishing my entire life. I grew up fishing in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. I have a passion for helping others catch fish and have a great time doing it. If you're looking for a great day on the water with your children or grandchildren look no further. Teaching kids to fish and getting them excited about the outdoors is a passion of mine. I volunteer with C.A.S.T for kids taking disabled youth fishing and am the President of High Plains Drifters Fly Fishing Club here in Colorado. I can not promise you that we will always catch fish, I can promise you that I will do everything possible so you have a great day and learn something new. Family Fishing Trip
Looking to take your kids or grandchildren fishing?
Don't want to sit on the shore all day hoping to catch a fish.
The day starts with us on the boat, I'll teach the kids about navigation, GPS and Sonar fish finders. We then head to a couple of spots on the lake and get the kids catching fish. From there we will have a great lunch and catch some more fish. As the day gets warmer will will drive around the lake and go swimming if they want to, we can always keep fishing but I have found that keeping the kids interested in new things makes for a much better day. My goal is to help create a memory that your children or grandchildren remember forever.

Beginner Fly casting/rigging class
We start out going over the basics - Rods, reels, line, gear.
I'll teach you the knots and how to set up your gear with different options and fly selection.
We then head over to the private lake and start casting.
I can customize this to your needs or combo it with a 1/2 day fishing trip on the private lake.
Large Mouth Bass Trip
Are you looking to catch some giant Large Mouth Bass?
This trip is on a private lake that grows some amazing fish.
You will be on a custom boat that I will row to each location as not to spook the fish,
Traditional or fly fishing
Package includes
